Mahler-Besse in Spain

In the mid-eighties, Franck Maler-Besse, who was already aware of the great potential of the Spanish vineyards, decided to launch his own wine.

He chose the Jumilla region, near Murcia in southeast Spain: The vineyards in this area were producing way below their true potential and Maler-Besse have introduced modern winemaking techniques and created three quality wines under their TAJA label, distributed exclusively through the traditional wine trade: TAJA MONASTRELL, TAJA RESERVA, TAJA GRAN RESERVA and TAJA EXCELENCIA...
