Bordeaux En Primeur 2006
En Primeur is a French wine trade term meaning "Wine Future". Wine is sold as a "Future" prior to bottling and deliver at a future date. For example: 2006 Bordeaux En Primeur wines will be bottled at the end of 2008 and release to the market by the chateau from Spring 2009 onwards. En Primeur offer prices do not include custom duties, sales tax and carriage charges.

Advantage of Buying En Primeur

1. Purchase wines at the first offer price from the market which is often the best price.

2. Secure sought-after wines which may be hard to find again commercially.

2. Own and store the wine as its released from the chateau. So the problem of "Provenance" will not arise.

3. An option to choose the wine's bottle size such as half bottle, bottle, magnum, and double magnum.

4. An investment opportunity.
